Montessori Children's House of Hattiesburg also offers a summer session for those parents who need or prefer a year-round program. This provides the opportunity for former students to return for a summer of favorite fun activities.

Snacks are provided in the morning and afternoon and a family style meal is prepared daily.

Classroom Hours
Regular classroom hours are from 8:00 A.M. to 12:00 noon for part-time students.

Extended Hours
In order to accomodate the schedules of working parents, our extended care offers a full day, from 7:00 A.M. to 5:30, which includes an additional session in the classroom from 2:30 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. Students must be picked up by 5:30 P.M.

Inclement Weather Policy
In times of extreme inclement weather, our school may cancel classes. To simplify parental notification, we will follow the decisions made by the Hattiesburg City School System in regards to canceling classes. If local news broadcasts announce closing of Hattiesburg Public Schools due to severe weather, parents may be assured that our school will also be closed.
